Shiloh is about a dog who belongs to Judd Travers. Judd always beats on Shiloh so Shiloh ran away from him and ended up in Marty's yard. When Marty saw the dog, he kept it and built a little house for him. There was only three problems. The first problem was he didn't know if Shiloh needed medicine or not. Then he had to keep Shiloh quiet. Finally, he had to sneak food for Shiloh. After a while, Marty's parents found out about the dog. Marty thought he was going to get into trouble but he didn't. Marty's parents let him keep Shiloh. When Judd Travers came to Marty's house with his truck he asked if he could have his dog and Marty's mom said, "Can we buy him?" and Judd Travers said, "He's not for sale!" So when Judd Travers went home, Marty knew two things. He knew Judd Travers had taken his dogs out hunting, like he said, and Shiloh had run away from the pack. He also knew Marty was not going to take Shiloh back; not now and not ever. Marty made a deal with Judd and Marty kept the dog. When Marty's parents first knew that Marty had a dog, his dad was ok with it but when his mom figured it out, she said, "Take this dog out of this house before it bites!" and Marty said it was ok so Marty and Marty's parents kept Shiloh.
